\u00c4rztliche Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrung<\/span><\/p>\n

Als Internist und Onkologe ist es mein Anspruch, Krankheiten und die M\u00f6glichkeiten ihrer Behandlung zu kennen, aber auch deren Grenzen zu erfassen. Als Palliativmediziner stehen f\u00fcr mich der kranke Mensch und seine Angeh\u00f6rigen im Mittelpunkt. Im station\u00e4ren Bereich konnte ich als Oberarzt der interdisziplin\u00e4ren Onkologie und der Palliativstation am Gemeinschaftskrankenhaus Havelh\u00f6he \u00fcber viele Jahre das gesamte Spektrum der palliativmedizinischen Symptome und ihrer spezialisierten Behandlung erlernen und andere \u00c4rzte und \u00c4rztinnen darin schulen.<\/p>\n

Die respektvolle und achtsame Haltung vor dem Leben ist mir genauso wichtig, wie das Erfassen von medizinischen, pflegerischen, sozialen, psychologischen und spirituellen Aspekten. Diese Haltung konnte ich auch in meinem Masterstudium in der \u201eWiege der Palliativmedizin\u201c in London, am Cicely Saunders Institute (King\u2018s College London) erfahren. Mein Anspruch ist es, Sterben und Tod als nat\u00fcrlichen Teil des Lebens anzuerkennen und die W\u00fcrde und Autonomie des Menschen bis zuletzt zu bewahren. Die vielseitigen im Palliativteam Hochtaunus angebotenen Therapiem\u00f6glichkeiten m\u00f6chte ich hierf\u00fcr gerne individuell f\u00fcr unsere Patienten und Patientinnen einsetzen.<\/p>\n

Meine Vision ist es, zu vermitteln, dass professionelle Palliativversorgung das Leben zuhause oder in Pflegeeinrichtungen verbessern kann, dass die menschliche, zugewandte Begegnung sehr heilsam sein kann und dass jederzeit neue Perspektiven entstehen k\u00f6nnen. Ich freue mich sehr darauf, mit den Mitarbeitenden des hervorragend aufgestellten multiprofessionellen Teams gemeinsam zu erleben, wie wertvoll und sinnstiftend die Arbeit sein kann und gemeinsam mit Catharina Rappold das Palliativteam Hochtaunus in die Zukunft zu f\u00fchren.<\/p>\n
